Uneven comfort levels
There are some people you feel comfortable enough with that you know you can drop over anytime of day and night and be welcomed with open arms, no questions asked.
There are some people you would never drop in on without calling ahead.
There are some people you would welcome into your home anytime day or night, no questions asked.
There are some people you meet at the door and never invite in.
And then...
There are some people who feel your relationship is at the first level even though you feel the relationship is at the second level.
If her kid wasn't such a great kid, I'd be really pissed off that she brought him over before school.
Unexpectedly.
Again.

Ack!! That is so not cool.... :/
It's not cool. At all. I wonder if she feels like you have a higher level relationship with her son, therefore it's OK. Which is wrong. I don't understand people... and I feel bad for the kid.
