Something that went well 

Social event at library tonight was nice. My library bestie was there solely because I had reached out to her yesterday to ask if she was coming. Otherwise she'd have forgotten. So, good for me for taking some initiative. 

Something to look forward to 

- short 4-day workweek

- extended 5-day weekend

- Camping with friends this weekend.

What's the best that could happen?

The weather could be very pleasant at our campsite, and we get to visit and take bike rides and enjoy our time together.
