Meetings

It's Wednesday night.

So far this week, I've attended five in-person work meetings of varying lengths with three different vendors.

Of the 24 hours I've spent in the office, 12 of them have been spent in meetings. Half of my workweek has found me stuck in a meeting unable to do any work.

I have four more meetings scheduled in the next two days.

I am a department of one. There is no one else on my team. No one else is available to do the work in my absence when my time is taken up with these other obligations. 

This is fun. Right?
