Cat Introductions

Elder Son and his cat moved into The Mother-in-law's former apartment downstairs last Friday. 

After 3 days of being kept on separate floors of the house, Elder Son's cat and our cat met each other today.

It went well.

They acknowledged each other, then snooped around each other's living areas for half an hour or so.

Our cat, feeling pretty comfortable after a while, stretched out for scritches. Elder Son's cat saw this as an opportunity, and she took a swipe at him.

He jumped back (didn't run away, mind you) and gave her a look as if to say, "What was that for?"

Elder Son scooped up his cat right away and told her she had to be polite. Then he took her back to their basement apartment to think about what she did.

He's a good cat dad 👍

This was a good start.

And clearly I have to come up with better (shorter, more identifiable) names for each of these cats.
