Gratitude Day 17 - food drive

Generous people.

Today was the annual Letter Carriers' Food Drive, and The Husband and I volunteered at our local food pantry checking expiration dates and sorting boxes and cans into categories.

The executive director said the amount of donations was much less this year than it was pre-COVID. Less than half.
Still, there *were* donations. Some bags were packed full, some bags had just a handful of items. It all added up like loaves and fishes. Altogether there were so many donations that 12 volunteers got through only half of the food before calling it a day.

Thank you for giving whatever you can whenever you are able.
The only donation that isn't enough is the one you don't give.
