Bird Is The Word

It usually takes birds a day or two to come to our bird feeder after we fill it. I assume it's because it smells strongly of human after we've touched it; in any case, it takes time for traffic to resume.

The Husband and I filled the feeder yesterday, and today I saw the first birds flitting to it.

Me:  The birds are finding the new seed.
He:  One bird gets some, and the rest are like, "Hey, where's you get that?"
Me:  Good old word-of-mouth advertising.
He:  Did you say bird-of-mouth?
Me:  No, but now I *wish* I had.
