*crickets chirping*
Well, everyone's gone.
Boys are off to school.
The husband is gone to work.
And I don't have anywhere to go for an hour and a half!
I've been waiting for this quiet, extra "me-time", house-to-myself moment since last fall when I realized the youngest boy would leave the house earlier if he takes sixth-year band this year.
So...
How come I feel sad and lonely?
(Don't worry. I'll get over it in a day or two. And then you'll have to stand back for all the happy-dancing.)

P.S. I can see visitor #20,000 will hit while I'm at work. I'll post later today...

Dang. It wasn't me. No chocolate for da Wabbit.
I don't recall ever feeling sad when the Boy went off to school...well, other than the start of the school year meant I had to get up early...
Not me... 20017... sigh.
I would have been happier today if I hadn't been so freeking BUSY! **sigh**
Our new normal is a son in the Army stationed at Fort Sill--close enough to come home weekends. We get to spoil him, and do laundry, and borrow his huge dvd collection.
In three weeks, our new normal will change again when he goes to Missouri for more specific training. Then what will we do on weekends? (Besides Scrabble)
Our house is too quiet. I can't wait until it cools down enough to open the windows.
*YAY* Enjoy it while you have it luv, it's not going to last as long as you need it :)
