Something that went well 

I managed to have a successful written interaction with someone at work. Before today, our IM conversations had sometimes been confusing and frustrating leaving me with the impression I had bothered her and wasted her time. It made me hesitant to ask her for things I need.

But today I saw an opportunity to introduce a request and also ask her how she prefers I ask for help going forward. She was gracious and cooperative, and now I know a little more about how she likes to communicate. 

Something to look forward to 

- there's a social event at my local library tomorrow 

- there's a social event at the yarn shop later this week

What's the best that could happen?

I could get a lot of work done on the yarn shop's website this Friday if the owner is there for me to talk to and ask questions.
