Something that went well

Boys came over for birthday cake and ice cream. The Husband and I had been looking forward to it all day. It was a nice visit ☺️

Something to look forward to

I have an off-site coffe date with a coworker on Wednesday this week. We're going to discuss ideas I have that might help her achieve one of her goals,  and there's a good chance we will have a cathartic sharing of frustrations in the process. 🤭

I also have a lunch date on Thursday with my friend who just adopted a cat, and I will get to deliver her cat's freshly crafted crochet basket 😍

Something nice about me

Despite how I struggle with some familial relationships, I have cousins who like me and seek me out when they're in the area.

This should assure me that "they" aren't all talking about me. And if they are, it's not all negative 😉
