Because... *updated*
Because my oldest sister, during her 50th year of life, had polyps removed during a routine colonoscopy...
Because my youngest sister, during her 48th year of life, found out some unidentified cancer had invaded her liver...
Because my youngest sister, during her 49th year of life, died not knowing what bugger kind of cancer killed her...
And because a cousin, in her 52nd year of life, died earlier this year from colon cancer...
I am, at age 46, having a colonoscopy today.
By the time you read this, I'll be under medical care.
Yes, I will let you know how everything turns out, good, bad or ugly.

Everything is clear!
Whew! One less cancer to worry about right now!
:-)

You hang in there - I need you happy and hungry tomorrow! :)
Wasn't the prep fun?
Finger crossed that everything comes out all right in the end...
I hope and pray it comes up clear. Had a colonoscopy earlier this year, not fun - especially the preparation - but worth it to know what my problem was, and how it needed to be managed.
Good for you! The prep stinks, but it is so good to have the test done!
Yeah, the prep is no fun. :-(
Completely physically drained in the morning. (No pun intended. If I'd intended the pun, I'd have said I was pooped out.)
Something to be thankful for?
Good news! Happy Thanksgiving, Roses.
A blessed day to you, and your whole clan!!!
Just went through my first one (at age 47) two weeks ago. And I think my family was more relieved than I was.
