Maybe it's contagious...

It's not just me, and it's not just my children.
Now their friends are getting clever.

Over the weekend, Younger Son's buddy was over playing computer games.  Sometimes they howl if the glare from the windows shines on the screens, so I had this exchange with Younger Son's pal:

Me:  Hey, is it gonna bother you if I open this door?
He:  No.
Me:  (opening door a little wider)  How about now?
He:  No.
Me:  Now?
He:  No.
Me:  Are you sure?
He:  I'm sure it's not the door.  (He means it's me that's bothering him... which was my intent.)
Me:  Heh.  Good one!
