Roller out the Barrel
I woke up this morning dreaming I was roller skating to polka music.
The Husband said, "That sounds like a happy dream."
"It was."
It was.
True stories... only funnier.

Every now and then I have a dream that wakes me up feeling like I could take on the world at its worst that day. I love those days.
By the way - I watched the video for Katy Perry's Firework yesterday. It made me cry too...
We sat next to a music "somebody" at a restaurant in Santa Monica a couple of months ago - she is firmly convince that Kary Perry is the best tecnical singer around these days:
"She actually looks at the music before she sings it! And then she can make the song say what it needs to just by altering her phrasing."
Katy sure did a wonderful job of making the song speak on Firework!
Was Lawrence Welk there?
You made me think of Planes, Trains and Automobiles. John Candy would rollerskate to polka music!
Heh! Bou beat me to it!
