Taken for a ride
The man who dialed the radio station studio had done it by mistake.
He: So... this is not the taxi service?
Me: No, but I can give you a ride if you can wait till I get off work.
He: Oh. That's okay.
I like wrong numbers. :-)

Ain't it the truth!
Some of the best conversations I've had in my life have been with folks that dialed me up wrong.
Seriously!
I guess I'm weird, but when I get a wrong number I don't do the "You're a moron, and check the number again!" thing.
Nope! I always ask what number they were trying to dial, and what the purpose of their call was. I mean, I'm kinda' like a professional receptionist or something, I guess.
I'll swear, I get in to some of the most interesting conversations.
Heck, I've got a buddy in Mississippi that got a wrong number call once from a dude in prison. They talked a long time, and the guy started calling him regularly. Seems my buddy had a very good influence on the inmate, and...well...it's a long story.
Sometimes God does junk like that.
