E-mail notices
After all these years of blogging and commenting, I've only just realized the value of clicking the "email notification" option in the comment box when visiting other blogs.
Holy cow!
Now, instead of having to remember who all I commented to and going back to see if they've replied to my funny comments, I get notes in my inbox.
How frickin' easy is that?
Am I the last person to start using that? I suppose you've been clicking it for... ever.

Roses, I ALWAYS subscribe to e-mail notifications. For me, blogging is about conversation. After I discovered follow-up comment notification it became MUCH easier.
In fact, sometimes I'll drop a comment just to subscribe, if it's an issue I really don't have an opinion on, but would like to read what others have to say.
Sure, your box gets tons of comments you don't really care to read, but it's a simple "delete," and easy to unsubscribe to any particular thread.
Blogger has a superior system to Wordpress in this area. Wordpress has it, but it's a little cumbersome to use, and the delivery time lags.
So, YES! I've been clicking it for...ever.
I used to but I get annoyed when it's a poular post and I wind up with dozens of email telling me someone else commented.
It depends on the blog and the blogger though. Some people are good about replying and some just can't keep up with all the coments.
This is just so Andy gets an e-mail.
:-)
You can do that? Oh, well, erm... hehe, who knew?!
Nyuk!
I never have used it...don't know why...
I've never clicked it because I thought it only notified me when a new post was published. I've been doing things the same way you were, just trying to remember (not entirely successfully these days).
Thanks for the tip!
Was doing it before I got my own blog. Now it helps me to keep up with those that I consider special and want to keep tabs on.
Miss Em
{{btw...YOU are one of my very special ones}}
Thanks, Miss Em!
Amber: Glad I could help! Thanks for sitting next to me!
I've thought about doing it, but I don't like to clutter my email box up. Plus I tend to get depressed when I realize that nobody replied to my comments... ;-)
I've never clicked it. I was afraid I'd get too much clutter or spam. It's hard for me to keep up with my email sometimes. I'll have to try clicking it and see how I like it now that you mentioned it.
Diamond Dave: Like coming home from week of vacation and there are no messages on the answering machine. Uh-huh. I get that.
