Sean: Granted, you can never make a stand-up truly stop BEING a stand-up. What I meant is someone who was previously PAID to do stand-up comedy, gave me a compliment. :-)

Roses, your posts here show a remarkable level of intelligence and wit, or I wouldn't keep coming back. I was just picking at you. My own humor is the sort that would never get acknowledged by a stand-up comic, ether active or former. But that's OK with me since I get all my jokes, even if nobody else does.
I have to say that I really enjoy your humor too - and have missed you this week =)
