Out of context

We don't usually have donuts in our house, so the morning we had a dozen to choose from, we took our time picking just the right one.
Chocolate?  Cream filled?  Sprinkles?

As I reached for my choice, I remarked, "I feel like the nutty one today."

A comment that was appropriate on many levels.
