Submit your witty comeback here
Say you have come across some bit of information.
When you confront the subject of this information with the fact that you have this information, that person demands to know, "Where did you hear that?!?"
What is the best way to react to that question?

Well Roses, my comeback is not witty. I have been in this situation often.
My response is, "It doesn't matter where I heard it."
Depending on the situation, that will be followed up with something like, "What are you going to do about it?" Or, "Why didn't you tell me yourself?" Or, etc...
Andy: That's a fine answer. I guess I don't need a witty response... just a good one.
It was on the Internets, and the Internets never lie...
Heh. Thumper, witty is also good. :)
I'm with Thumper! The interwebz...dey iz majik!!!
When in doubt I always fall back on "Are you calling me fat?" even if it makes no sence whatsoever. So far there is no one who won't back down from that.
Heh! Good one Dani!!!
Come to think of it, maybe Thumper's idear is better...
LOL...
Okay let me try again - Not sure what just happened but suddenly a comment that wasn't what I wrote turned up when I hit post!!!
Ahem - best response:
"Guess that answers my question, the information is correct."
Thumper's is wittier - but this will stop them dead in their tracks.
Teresa, that's a good one. I might try that one next time.
Just sayin'...
You are protesting and procrastinating to much, must be true.
