Kitty Crack House
As I sat in the comfy swivel rocker, I pulled the cat's toy mouse out of the cushion and set it on my knee. Moments later, the cat lept up and curled into my lap.
It wasn't long before he spied the mouse. But, instead of grabbing it, he turned and gave me a look that clearly said, "What. have. you. DONE?!"
He spun around and urgently pawed at the cushion where the mouse had been stuffed.
"Dood, what are you doing?" I asked. "The mouse is right there."
Yet, he continued to dig.
Until he pulled up his favorite catnip mouse.
Huh.
Apparently, he was worried I'd raided his stash.

I'm not a pet owner but a friend of mine had a cat that would get really scary at times. They made the mistake of telling me about catnip and that poor cat never scared me again = )
Awful, I know but that cat scared me.
May
Vladi likes to hide his mice too. I've learned to always check my shoes before puting them on and I once scared the heck out of my coworkers by screaming when I discovered one in my purse.
Cats are awesome!
You're supposed to ASK before you pay with their toys, don'tcha know...
Ha...this sounds a lot like my cat. She has a whole family of toys that she treats as though they're her children. Her favorite right now is the furry part of an old ear muff. She takes that thing all over the house. In the morning, we often find it in the shower....then later it will be in or beside one of her food dishes. How cute is that?!
Our cats tend to over indulge the catnip. They walk funny all day and frantically eat all the munchies...
Silly cats. We have our own catnip.
It's called chardonnay.
