A wiggly pet, because if it gets far toooooo wiggly, I can make it get off the bed without the guilt of making a kid go back to their own bed. Downside? Cat breath.
Unfortunately I have to tolerate the child. The pet gets kicked out the second it starts squirming/farting/snoring.
Pet all the way.
#1. They pur and or give you doggy kisses t show they appreciate the bed time. My kid at least just steals my teddy bear (yes I sleep with a teddy bear move on)and then kicks me in the ribs, head. etc.
#2. If the cat/dog starts to irritate me it's socialy acceptable kick them off. Much more complicated with kids.
Pet. In Labour's Britain I'd be accused of abuse and locked away for even allowing the child onto the bed.
If I wind up with a wiggly child in my bed, that means I fell asleep in the wrong house, and really, that would be too awkward for words...
I am tolerant of a wiggly child.

I am not so tolerant of both at the same time.
However, now, all pets are banished from the bed. Youngest is 21 so I guess that would be a little weird.
Um...
Perhaps I should have specified "your child" so as to not frighten folks like Gray Monk.
Sorry, dude.
