A short question

When one of the saleswomen at work updated her wardrobe, she gave me one of her nicer suits.
This woman, in heels, is shorter than I am. Yet, the slacks she gave me drag on the floor when I wear them.
How is this possible?

She can be shorter, but she carries what height she has in her legs. You must carry more in your torso; hence, pants that fit her are too long for you. It's all about the inseam.

I was going to say if she has a bigger behind then you that would account for longer legs. I have had that issue, when the butt is big my pants get shorter, then when or if I can ever get the butt to shrink, my pants are instantly longer. It's a miracle!!

Funny- I was just going to say she wears higher heels.

Same reason that I buy my "perfect length" skits from the petite stores.

:-)

Well, and what Rave said....

Thanks, Thumper and Shinny! Both of those explanations make sense.
