Iced Spiced Chai
Not a coffee drinker, I enjoy my spiced chai on a daily basis.
On the weekends, the husband likes that I can sit and drink a hot beverage with him while reading the paper together.
But, now that the weather is getting warmer (at least it was until we got 3 inches of snow over the weekend), there are days I'm not so keen on a hot drink.
Fortunately, spiced chai tastes fabulous over ice. And when I mix it, I adjust the amount of water to account for the ice that'll melt before I drink it all.
On one of these warmer Sunday mornings, I was off doing household chores while waiting for some ice to melt before sitting and enjoying my chai.
When I finally sat, my wonderful husband presented my mug of chai to me.
"Here you go, love," he said. "It had gotten cold, so I microwaved it for a couple of minutes."
And I said...
"Thank you, honey. That was very thoughtful."
