Blogging the hand that feeds you.

This is pure rumor... but, an important warning:

A woman in Wisconsin was fired this week for blogging at work... about work.

She had been given a warning to knock it off. It reflects poorly on the company when she writes negative posts about the people she works with/for.

Well, duh.

She "fixed" the problem by limiting her blog viewers to "friends only".

And continued to blog at work... about work.

One of her "friends" printed out the latest post and gave the copy to her boss.

Buh-bye.

(On a side note, I do not blog while at work.  However, I may go back and edit a few things I may have said about work... even though the names have been changed to protect, uh, me.)
