Hijacking the kitty lovin'
The boys take turns feeding and watering the cat.
They have learned (because the cat simply adores me) that the cat loves whoever gives him food. So, they volunteered to start feeding the cat in order to get some kitty lovin'.
Elder Son feeds and waters in the morning; Younger Son feeds and waters in the evening.
The cat winds around the legs and body of whoever rattles his bag of kitty food.
It's adorable.
But, get this...
In the morning, when Edler Son rattles the kitty food bag, the cat AND Younger Son come running.
And while Elder Son feeds and waters the cat, the cat winds around Younger Son because he's there, and he's not moving around so much as the boy who's doing all the work.
So, Elder Son doesn't get his kitty lovin'.
Sheesh!
So now we have a rule over who can stand where while the cat is being fed.
*sheesh*

now if you can figure out a way to get them to fight over cleaning the litter box, you'll be set!
WritersBlock: Don't think I haven't tried!
The things we do for kids..... :)
That sounds like a rule we'd come up with too, lol. Whenever there's more than one kid, those rules seem to come up.
Mrs. Who: We also have a rule that the bathroom can only have one boy at a time in it. Don't ask...
Roses: I have three boys...I KNOW...I don't have to ask.
Since we have 4 cats and 4 kids, we don't have this problem. Now the cat litter boxes .... that's another story! Hmmpf!
