Windshield Fairy
Farookin cold.
It was 30 degrees when I went to work yesterday.
By the time I left work, it had snowed and the temps dropped to 10 degrees with a windchill of -15.
Farookin cold.
Now, those who know me might say I'm a little paranoid. A little over-sensitive to danger.
So, as I approached my vehicle last night, I was slightly concerned to see footprints all around it. Considering I park in a public parking lot, you'd think, "Big deal."
But, I had parked so close to the lot's edge that I had to step off the pavement to get out. And now there were big, fat, man footprints all over the grass.
Who needs to walk that close to my vehicle? Obviously on purpose?
No one, that's who.
So, I checked for signs that someone had slid under the car and might be still hiding there.
No.
Checked the backseat for extra passengers before I got in.
No one.
Good. So I jumped in the vehicle, slammed the door, and locked it.
And then...
I looked out my windshield.
Strike that; I looked through my windshield.
No snow.
Immediately I grabbed the cell phone and dialed up the husband.
When he answered, I gushed, "Hey, honey! Something really wonderful happened today! The windshield fairy came!"
"He did?"
"And he scraped off my windshield for me so I wouldn't have to stand outside when it's ten below zero!"
"That windshield fairy must love you."
"Yes, he does. And he has footprints just your size."
You may say "Aw!" now.

Aw.
Hey, listen, I land next Sunday at Rockford, if the Windshield Fairy is interested. ;-)
And Paradise, snuggled safely in THE valley really DOES have a drive way. You know, just in case the Driveway Fairy, the cousin of the Windshield Fairy, wants to know.......
Awwwww. :)
**sigh**
Men can be so wonderful.
Sometimes.

Awwww...I still woulda slugged him in the arm for scaring me, but awwwww...
Niiiiice. He wouldn't be able to contact any laundry faeries for me, would he?? ;)
Richmond: He knows the Laundry Fairies very well. I think he is their supplier, though. :-(
Another post I had to pass on... :)
OMG. I LOVE that!!!
I'd love it if just once my husband would pump the damn gas.
