Presto Chango

I drive a fairly common model of car in a rather unusual color.
So, I was surprised to see another vehicle of the same color at the mechanic's garage when I picked up my car.

"Thanks for finishing so quickly," I told the mechanic.  Then, pointing to the wrong vehicle in the parking lot, I added, "I'm very impressed with how you turned my car into a truck."
He narrowed his eyes at me.  "I'm just that good."

Is it dark mauve? Just curious.

I thought you'd guess chartreuse.

That is very funny on the part of your mechanic. Love it!

When I think of an unusual color of car, I think of bubble gum pink.

I live in L.A., and almost everyday on my way to work, I pass a bubble gum pink corvette that is going the other way. It is owned by an aging blond Hollywood personality, Angelyne. She used to be sort of the Paris Hilton of her day. Now, not so much. Now she's mostly famous for her pink car.

So....your car isn't bubble gum pink, is it?

I live with three males. I don't think a pink car would allow itself to be parked in my driveway.

Just this morning I spotted a cream of tomato colored car and a pumpkin custard colored truck.
anyone else wonder what's going through the minds of people who buy baby poop green vehicles?

Nyuk! Dogs, it's bubble gum "dark mauve."

Roses, I think it's probably a diagnosable disorder of some type. Probably a cry for attention. Kinda like, "Come Change Me!" or something.

The Mrs & I own an emerald green Escort wagon.

I've seen others just like it.

Ours was apparently the only one ever sold that doesn't have a roof rack.

Very strange.

I saw a Camaro today that I swear was neon green. Pulled up in my sand colored Asexual Mom mobile and felt... so boring.
