Tree skirt

KatieBeans asked me to post a pic of my homemade Christmas Tree Skirt when I'm done crocheting it.  As it is taking a little longer that it should (since I'm currently unraveling it and starting over *sigh*), I thought I'd post a pic of the one I made several years ago.

If I ever have the time (and if anyone shows any interest), I can also post the directions on how to make this out of only dc and chains.

That kinda looks like what we have, but instead of a tree and purpose made skirt, I just get an anorexic debutant to stand still in the corner.

Her ruffled cotillion skirt billows out nicely from her skeletal frame.
We hang lights from her bony arms, and give her crackers and water.
( But not too much, nobody likes a bulemic debutante. It's messy.)

I think it's a very cute skirt and as a knew fan to knitting and crocheting, I'd be interested in getting that pattern please.

Btw, how's the weather in your neck of the woods so far? Over 550 car wrecks and FINALLY, our first official snow day since moving to Minnesnowda. Sweet!

May: Look for that pattern "sometime" in the future. I have the original handy, but since I added the red and green trim, I have to remember what I did.
