A shot in the dark?

Elder Son had a friend spend the night this weekend.  The Husband set the two of them up with laptops and shoot-em-up games in Elder Son's room.
"Now, as soon as I go to bed," The Husband warned the boys, "you have to be quiet."
Uh huh.  Yeah, sure.  We know.  No problem.

After The Husband left the room, I overheard the boys talking.
"That'd be funny.  Your folks are sleeping and they hear us yelling, 'Get down!  He's gonna shoot you!'"
"You know what we should do?  We should just go to bed and yell out random things in the dark."
"Now that would be funny!"
