Thrifty Boys

At the store the other day:

Younger Son-age 9: (shows a nifty decorator tin to his brother)  Hey! I found this game called Spoons! It's really fun to play! (hushed) But it costs a lot of money!

Elder Son-age 12: How much?

Younger Son: (scandalized) Ten dollars!

Elder Son: (even more scandalized) Ten dollars?!? For a deck of cards and a bunch of plastic spoons!?!



Really happy with how those boys think.
