The clerk at the health food co-op knows our names because 1) we are members, and 2) she listens to The Husband on the radio every morning.

"Your husband is so funny," she said to me this week as I shopped alone. She repeated the on-air conversation that happened Monday, and though she was amused, I got the impression she thought I should be offended at what The Husband had said.

"Oh, he can say whatever he wants about me," I told her, "as long as it's funny." 😉
