"Not painful, just annoying"

I told our over-zealous morning DJ that I've been dealing with a head cold for a couple days.
He said he was sorry to hear that.
I explained, "On the plus side, it's not painful.  It's just annoying, and it won't go away."
"Hey!  Like me!"
