What's that whistling song in the Boxtrolls movie trailer?

(Scroll to end for official music video)

My quest to find the name of that pop song with the whistling in it began when Younger Son informed me I was whistling it wrong.
"Well, what song is it so I can listen to it and do it the right way?" I asked.
He didn't know, and since the only part of the song I knew was the whistling part, I couldn't look up any lyrics on-line.  And, of course, now that I really wanted to hear it, I could never catch it on the radio.

Watching TV one night, a trailer for a movie called The Boxtrolls came on, and there was THE TUNE in the background!

I listened for any lyrics, but the only word I could pick out was, "Oh!"
Not very helpful.

(Edited on 9/18/2016 to add: Now Walmart is using this song in some of its television commercials.)

Numerous Google inquiries followed:
"What's the song in the Boxtrolls movie trailer?"
"What's the whistling song in the Boxtrolls TV trailer?"
Nothing but wrong answers. No search brought me to the tune stuck (wrong) in my head.

Finally! ... two free weeks of satellite radio later...
I heard it. And got the name of it off the digital readout.

So friends, I present to you the correct answer to your question, and my new favorite song:
"The Walker" by Fitz And The Tantrums

Hey, thanks for that! I had been wondering the same thing since hearing this song one day in the grocery store, of all places. The guy behind me in line with his daughter in the shopping cart was whistling right along with it.

You are all SO welcome! Glad I could help. It was very frustrating to me to keep getting sent to that Cee Lo Green song which is very much NOT the song we've all been looking for.

It's nice to know I was not alone in getting hooked on this song. :-)

I've been obsessed with this tune in a small way for more than a year, but I'm lazy, so I never bothered trying to find out what it is until now. I'm glad you discovered the tune. Incidentally, the same catchy part that was used in the Boxtrolls ad is now being used in a hair shop ad—I think it's for Supercuts.

Hey Anonymous,

I looked for a way to uncheck the "Notify me" option for you, but I don't see how I can do that... even if I knew WHICH of the many Anonymous accounts yours is.

I'm so sorry. I can imagine how annoying the recurring alerts could be.
Fortunately, this post is so old, fewer people are commenting. So at least there's that.
