Yes, I *am* that good.
Late yesterday afternoon, I received an e-mail from my boss.
It was a request for me to record an interview with a local charity to help them promote an upcoming fund-raiser.
Here is the reply I sent:
Done. It has been running on air since Monday.
(Yes, I *am* that good.)
Still hate my job, but hell, somedays I'm damned good at it.

5 Say Thbbbt!:
And I'm sure he didn't say thanks for it, did he?
Probably took the kudos for it.
Bosses are @##^%&^ most of the time. Boy do we make them look good!
Actually, Brandi, his exact words were, "Wow. You continue to amaze."
But, considering I posted it here for a pat on the back, I'd say I wasn't expecting to get positive feedback through the normal channels.
It's odd to be so dang good at a job you hate.
Puzzling.
Maybe it's the norm...or at least not uncommon.
I love my job. Probably because I'm not very good at it, but they continue to pay me to do it.
Suckers!
Andy: Even when no one else gives a flying truck, I still do.
::shrug::
I am not as good at my job as you are at yours. I struggle every dan and there are days that I sit there and wait for someone to realize I'm a fake. I'm so overwhelmed with what I do.
Yet my boss continues to tell me I'm the best, even when I ask 25 questions in a day, and the big guys gave me a big raise. I think that they realize I'm all they got and if I bail, they really are screwed. It's better to have the chick that asks 25 questions, shows up to work on time, will work evenings and weekends to meet deadlines...than to have the big brain with no work ethic. Seriously, I think that's their philosophy. There is no other explanation.
So it pains me that you are SO good at your job, and the way you are treated has made you loathe it. That's not right.
You need a new work home.
