Good for nothin'

When The Husband works the early morning radio news shift, his alarm clock goes off at 3:30am to give him time to dress, drive, and assemble the first newscast.
So, when I heard him fumbling with his alarm clock at 5am, I sat bolt upright in bed knowing that if he didn't leave NOW, there'd be dead air at news time.
"What can I do to help?" I blurted out.
He replied, "Nothing.  It's Saturday."
"Nothing," I muttered.  "I can do that."

3:30 or 5, it's still the middle of the night. Ugh...
