"I have a headache"

Okay, so I lied.
I didn't have a headache.

But let's be honest. No one feels sorry for you if you're tired.
Because you're only tired.
Tell someone you're tired and they mutter something along the lines of "walk it off" and carry on as if you said nothing at all.

However, when you tell someone you have a headache, they offer to bring you things like coffee and aspirin. Sometimes they'll even ask if you want to go home (if you're at work) or back to bed (if you're at home).

Yeah. I'm never again telling anyone I'm tired.
"Sorry honey, I have a headache."

I would feel sorry for you if you were just tired. I would offer caffeine. And cookies. Caffeine and cookies. Because that's the kind of awesome that I am ;)

Dani and Thumper: Clearly, I am wasting my time with the wrong people and need to spend more time with you.

You're welcome at my house any time. Sure it's a bit out of your way but...
