Shortest. Hour. Ever.

That blessed hour after three-fourths of the family leaves for Scout Camp... when you make a trip to the grocery store for special treats that you don't have to share, a stop at the library to pick up a pile of chick flicks that you won't be interrupted during, and a quick pass through the craft store to grab just one skein of yarn to finish a Hogwarts scarf or two before the sixth movie comes out in theaters... just before you sprain your pinky toe (perhaps breaking it) and not being able to get off the couch for the rest of the afternoon.

*sigh*

P.S. If you're keeping score, it's this toe.

**Update**
I spent most of "Bride Wars" with my foot in an icy bucket of water. By the end of the day, I'd managed to slip into a rubber-soled moccasin which held the toe in place effectively, and I could walk around comfortably.

Awww I'm sorry. On the upside you have movies and yarn to keep you ocupied while traped on the couch. And tasty snacks you keep your strength up.

Want a DingDong? I have some extra and I hear that they have magic properties when battered and deep fried :)
