Would you rather get everything you want...

-or-

... want everything you get?

The first one please. I've gotten some things before that I could never imagine wanting... like this Cleveland-sized arse, or my ex-mother-in-law.

I'd much rather get everything I want. Why lower my standards by wanting everything I get?

I'd rather want everything I already have...

I'm seconding Leeann. I've already got a few things, people, etc. that I'm pretty happy not wanting. And just think of all the fancy things I'd have if I got everything I wanted.

That's a tough one. I think the correct answer is supposed to be "wanting everything you've got." But "getting everything you want" is awfully tempting.

Fortunately, I think I have a happy medium between them both. It would, of course, be nice to have a little more of one, and a little less of the other, but I think I've been pretty lucky so far with what I've got.

Wanting what I've got.

And thus happily married.

Harvey: Awwww! You're so sweet.

I'll just take all the other stuff then.

My answer was too long for just a comment. I hope you don't mind, but I stole your post.......
