A conversation about nothing.

It was 56 degrees today.
I stopped to say goodbye to a co-worker before going home.

She: I see you're wearing a spring coat.
Me: I had to.
She: How come?
Me: Because it's hot outside!
She: I didn't wear any coat.
Me: That makes you hotter than me!
She: Why, thank you.
Me: I'd love to stay and talk, but I have an 11-year-old at home who has demanded I come home "as soon as possible".
She: Roses, didn't you tell him you don't negotiate with terrorists?

Some of us don't need sit-com writers.

Now that was funny! I'll have to remember that in the future with my boys.
