Okay, so maybe it's not all them

Some time ago, when the husband took the boys camping without me (joy! ecstacy! rapture!), the first thing I did was clean the entryway of the house. I put away all the shoes no one was wearing, vacuumed, and straightened the throw rugs. My thought was: the first thing I'd see everytime I entered the house, was clean house.

Well, that was the plan anyway...

I went out to fetch the mail, and when I came in, I tracked in some mud.
Cleaned it up.

Refilled the bird feeder. Tracked in some mud.
Cleaned it up.

And so on.
Everytime I walked out, I dragged crud back in with me.
And had to clean it up.

So.
When the floor's dirty.
Right after I've just cleaned it.
Perhaps...
Sometimes...
Maybe...

It's not. All. Their fault.

*GASP* ROSES !
You can't possibly be suggesting that we contribute in ANY way to the house looking like a mess !! Back awayyyy from the mop and go have a drink, it will restore your world view just fine :)

Trini: I said maybe. ;-)

But, who was cleaning the entry? When was the last time someone (other than you) came in and exclaimed, "Oh horrors, look at the mess I just made!"

It's usually me that drags the mud into the house, especially after re-enacting.

Bob: I do hear "Oh horrors" a lot, now that you mention it...

Contagion: I didn't even know you knew where I live!
