Walking the Walk

I know I haven't mentioned it in a while, but I do still walk a mile every morning before work.
The only mornings I skip it are mornings when I shovel snow.
(No, I don't always make the boys do it.)

Just thought I'd throw that out there for anyone considering a New Year's resolution of exercise.
You're not alone!

You deserve it.

I seriously need to start exercising. I need motivation, though. Hope you have a safe and happy New Year's Eve...

Okay. Time to get that treadmill from my m-i-l's house to here. (There's no place so safely walk where I live.)

I failed at morning one. Did not fine it easy to get up this morning at all.

Help me stay motivated, please.

writersblock: You are right. It is NOT easy. Maybe you should try a bribe.
Every day you work out, put a quarter/dollar in a jar. At the end of the month, go buy a reward.
Every day, think about how much closer you are to getting that reward.

And remember, you're not cheating anyone but yourself if you don't get up and go.

Does that help?
