We Have a Winner!

This year's gift of shame is.....

The advent calendar... with empty pockets!

That's right, friends! 24 glorious, empty pockets to help you count the days to opening more useless crap from the relatives!

*sigh*

But, here's a twist:

The 12-year-old spotted said advent calendar and decided he likes the goofy snowman holding the 24 empty pockets. So, he claimed it.

And this is what my boy did:
He designed a Lego Christmas tree using exactly 24 Lego bricks. Each brick now has its own pocket to rest in until Saturday, December 1st when we start building the tree... one day at a time... for 24 days. The last day, we put the yellow Lego on the top of the Lego tree. The star.

I like that kid.

have you ever seen the Lego advent calender. It is awesome. My son is too big for it now but if you have kid 4 to 8 they will love it. The also have a playmobile but it is not nearly as good.
