Man Logic

Man Logic is what causes a man to reach past the old ratty bath towels to the back of the closet where you've stored the new plush towels so he can have something to soak up the nasty water that runs out of the plumbing project he's working on.

Later, when you show him the new plush towel covered with permanent stains and a big gash down the middle, Man Logic is what causes that man to respond, "It was in the back of the closet. We never use it. I figured you didn't like that one as much as the others."

Yeah.

I 'had' one of those. He fixed everything. It was wonderful. I would think 'I've saved so much by not calling the plumber, electrician, handyman etc. that I can buy more towels, Tupperware, whatever.

But yeah, how do you think that brand new towel should be used instead of the threadbare half shredded ones I use as temporary rugs when it rains.

. . . sigh. . .

So that's why my husband insists on using and breaking the good china that I store on the back of the very top shelf in the cabinet!?!
