Balance...

... I lost mine last week.
You see, we ran out of Omega-3 capsules, and I didn't have time to pick up more.

Because we ran out of Omega-3 capsules, my neck began to ache at night.
Because my neck ached at night, I slept poorly.
Because I slept poorly, I hit the snooze once or twice.
Because I hit the snooze, I didn't have time to do my morning neck stretches.
Because I didn't stretch, I was all stiff and slumped over all day.
Because I was all stiff, I hit the caffeine pretty hard to perk up.
Because I hit the caffeine, when I woke up in the middle of the night, instead of just turning over, I was all anxious and worried and could NOT fall back asleep.

By Friday morning I was a mess. At 7:30, the 10-year-old looked me in my dark-circled eyes and asked, "Aren't you supposed to be walking right now?"
I snarled at him.

What a fine example I am.

So, today I made time and bought a BIG bottle of Omega-3s.
And I'm adding time onto my walks all this week to make up for missing just one day.

Hoping to recover some semblance of balance by the end of this week.

Yep - way too easy to just let things slide and get out of balance. Glad you're making the time.

Hang in there - when you're back in the routine you'll feel so much better!

Bless you, Teresa.
I needed the pat on the head.

"I don't know why she swallowed a fly..." kept popping into my head.

Here's hoping you get your Omega 3's!
