Parents Know Everything

Librarian: Good morning! Hey, were your two boys here last night?

Me: Last night?

Librarian: Yeah. Playing Runescape?

Me: (lost in pre-caffeine stupor) Um...

Librarian: Because two boys came in, and they looked just like you. And once I heard them talking, I thought, yeah, they've gotta be.

So, THAT's how my parents always knew where I was and what I was doing when I was a kid.
They had spies everywhere!

This is very cool.

The most heartbreaking thing about my childhood is all those times I thought I got away with something, my parents told me about it as an adult. :-(

chlorinejenny: You're welcome!

hapkido: I'm sorry. It's much like when I learned the truth about my rabbit, huh?

Holy smokes! I'm sorry but that's hilarious & tragic at the same time. Mixed feelings about that one.

It's one of those "AHA!" moments you never want to have...

I just read your 'bunny story'. I was torn between horror and laughter.

Hapkido and Mrs. Who: Don't feel bad. At the time, even *I* was torn between laughing and crying.

Go to YouTube and search "The Truth About Fluffy" for a staged re-enactment by Carol Burnett and friends.

Ha ha! Did you shout "cannibals" & "murderers" when you found out? How about randomly crushing lamps & china?

Ah, Mama's Family, that was actually a decent show. :-)
