If I lived next to a jail...

... I would buy a cheap, beat-up car and leave it unlocked with the keys in the ignition in my front yard.

Then, if anyone ever broke out of the jail, instead of invading my house and possibly harming me or taking me hostage, they would first look in the car, see the keys, and drive away.

And I could simply call the police, give them a description of my stolen car along with the license plate number, and we'd be all good.

Oh.
Did I fail to mention that I'd have a GPS installed in the old beater?
And only keep a gallon of gas in it?

It sounds like you have given this some serious thought. So, when's the big move? Oh yeah, my brother has an '87 tercel for sale. $250!

Thanks for your help with the blogroll. I'm going to attempt it now. Gasp!

Oh, yeah, I'm the man! er WOWman! Thanks again for your help!

I know a guy with an '82 full-size Bronco! Sorry, chlorinejenny, but that'll get WAAAY worse mileage than a disgustingly efficient Tercel. :-)

Roses,
Yes, I know I'm starting an argument I can't win...

Hmmm...I live about a mile from the State Prison...

Thumper: Gotta GPS on your bike?

But what if the guy/or girl that breaks out of prison is as hot as that guy off of Prison Break? You could just hide him/her in the basement and use him as your boy toy for a few years until the man hunt cools off!

Um, I think I need to be alone for a few minutes!

chlorinejenny,
Well, the obvious problem is if the "girl" who broke out looks like a "hot guy" on a TV show...

You have it out for me today Hapkido! Now I'm gonna have to go visit your blog!

HapKiDo said...

chlorinejenny,
Nah, I don't have it out for you. Just to teach you a lesson, however, I am going to visit your blog.

Yeah, payback hurts, doesn't it? :-)

Just asking:
CJenny, any chance you live in either Texas or South Carolina?

::runs away quickly knowing HapKiDo still has Harvey's tomato::

I've never been to either of those states. I went to Arizona for a training camp once and got full blown Mono though. Slept under a cactus, in malls on pool decks. It was horrible. I was 15 years old!

roses,
You're just itching to have me throw Harvey's tomato, aren't you? Here, catch!

::Lobs tomato in roses direction::

Cjenny,
You'd like both states - don't worry, I'm not living in either - so if you get the chance, pay a visit. No guarantees against mono...

I'm still relatively new here...what's with all this tomato throwing? I want in! Can I throw beans?

::drops tomato::
DANG!

Oh...
Don't let me interrupt you two.
Would you rather be alone?

(BTW, HapKido, creepy mother-in-law ghost tomatoes are growing as I type, and I don't have any problems with throwing a tomato where it needs to be thrown... just sayin'.)

CJenny,
Harvey threw the tomato at me for the dwarf joke on my site. Since I'm pretty good with my hands, I caught it & was holding it for good use...

Roses,
I tried to make it easy to catch. I'll hand it off next time. Creepy mother-in-law ghost tomatoes scare me!

Just make sure you're only throwing them when I deserve it. :-P
